About

Watch darts. Meet players. Game on.

Throwdown is a community-driven darts organisation founded by Luke Bodily, built to transform the darts event experience — blending elite professional competition with influencer-led entertainment. We don't want fans to passively watch the sport. We want them to feel it.

Our story

Luke Bodily started Throwdown after finding darts as a personal outlet and a passion that took over. Today, Throwdown exists to give young fans and aspiring players the chance to thrive in a sport they love — bringing the biggest names in darts to unforgettable live nights since 2024.

What we stand for

Elite competition. We hold a high standard of performance, designing formats and rankings that challenge players on skill, preparation and mental toughness.

Real access. We remove the barriers — players get genuine pathways to tournaments, rankings and the people shaping the sport, earned on performance alone.

Community first. Players, fans, organisers and partners come before profit. We're building something rooted in respect, inclusion and shared growth.

Exceptional darts should stay accessible to everyone — and we'll always respect the traditional roots and community heritage of the game.

Frequently asked questions

Where and when are your events held?

Our 2026 shows are hosted at The Copthorne Hotel, Dudley. Each event page shows the exact date and doors time (usually 6pm).

How do I get my tickets?

Tickets are sent to you by email as a QR code — just show it on your phone at the door, no need to print.

What do I get with VIP?

We roll out the red carpet whenever one of darts' finest comes to town. VIP gets you early entry to grab the best seats in the house (seating is first-come, first-served — we don't allocate seat numbers), plus a high-resolution photo with the pro. Where time and the player's schedule allow on the night, we'll also try to give you a printed, framed and signed photo with the player. As this extra can't always be guaranteed (player contracts and time constraints on the night), VIP upgrades are non-refundable where the framed photo isn't possible.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

Our shows are live events with costs committed well in advance, so tickets are non-refundable once purchased — other than where an event is cancelled or rescheduled, when we'll be in touch about a refund or transfer. If something has gone wrong with your booking, email info@throwdowndarts.com and we'll help however we can.

Can I give my ticket to someone else?

Yes — tickets aren't named, so if you can't make it, a friend can use your QR code in your place.

Are events suitable for families and under-14s?

Absolutely — we offer Under-14 tickets and love seeing families at our nights. Any age guidance for a specific event is shown on its event page.

Is strobe or flashing lighting used at events?

Yes. Our shows use high-energy production effects including strobe and flashing lighting. If you are sensitive to flashing lights, please take this into account before attending.

Will I be photographed or filmed at events?

Yes. We capture photography and video throughout our events, including footage of the crowd. By attending a Throwdown event you consent to your image and likeness being recorded and used by Throwdown for media, promotional and marketing purposes, including across our website and social media channels. If you have any concerns, please speak to a member of our team on the night.

Do you offer free or discounted tickets?

Yes. Through our partnership with Tickets for Good we offer free standard tickets to NHS staff, carers, teachers and people receiving certain benefits. On top of that, every show has an allocation of free standard tickets on a first-come, first-served basis (the number varies by event) — because we don't just say we're here for the community, we mean it. Keep an eye on our News page and grab them quickly, as they tend to go within minutes.

Can I return merchandise?

Faulty or incorrect items can be returned within 14 days for a replacement or refund — just email info@throwdowndarts.com first and we'll sort it quickly.

How can I sponsor or work with Throwdown?

We're always open to media, partnerships and sponsorship. Email info@throwdowndarts.com and we'll point you to the right person.
