A Review of 2025

What a year. Throwdown hosted five major events across the West Midlands in 2025.

We kicked off with Pride of the Midlands on 24 January, featuring Reece Colley, Dan Hands, Dan Nicholls, Cayden Smith, Dan Astbury, Ieuan Halsall, Wayne Jones and Ryan O'Connor. "The Wanderer" Wayne Jones took the title of West Midlands champion.

In April, Stephen Bunting took on our content creators, with VIP guests getting signed photos and the chance to meet him. Over the summer, former world champion Michael Smith joined our "Beat the Pro" series against TikTok's biggest darts creators — Neil Birkin's win became our most-watched video ever.

November brought the second Pro-Am, pairing pros with creators for prize money, with Team Tom Sykes and Darts Anonymous taking the title. We rounded off the year with our first-ever Christmas Party featuring Scott Williams, Bradley Brooks and a host of creators.
